The doves built a nest in the plum tree next and laid 2 beautiful eggs. Mother dove was really in to a bit of exterior decorating as she skillfully draped the nest with little red berries and the interior was lined with all things soft and delicate to protect her expected babies featherless skin.
Sadly it seems this and this preparation was in vain as the parents haven been seen for two or three days now.
