The Beetle's favourite pastime with it's nose in the Loquat flower's

Imagine this !! I am balancing on a chair trying to get a shot of this beetle the chair is unsteady and the beetles are still a bit higher than is comfortable but I was determined to get a good shot of this
Then imagine my surprise when looking thru the view finder I find that I have caught them in the act of mating
I nearly fell off the chair, I do not lie !!!  Hence not a clear shot.
Brown Flower beetles feed on the nectar of a variety of blossoms but do prefer white or cream last year I saw them feeding in my white roses but not any of my coloured roses. In these pics they are feeding on the blossom of our Loquat tree.
