Silky moth

A few nights ago I discovered a few interesting little insects under my veranda light. As yet I havent a clue as to what they are called so I shall have to go on a big learning curve.

I love this tiny silky moth its wings are like gossamer and so fine they are see through.
One has to wonder what part this little creature plays in the Big Picture
