Strange Visitor (Katydid)

This Green Katydid ( family) Tettigoniidae has to be the strangest visitor I have yet found in my yard
Unfortunately the photo is of poor quality as I took it with my old phone and didn't do a very good job of it
But you will still get a good idea of what they look like.
Katydids are a member of the same family as Grasshoppers and Crickets and most of them exist on a diet of plants. Katydid's have on opening on their front legs that act as receptors of sound and allow the female to hear the Male's love songs. As yet I haven't been able to identify this one, so that will be something to look forward to . Also I am hoping I will see some this year and get a better shot this time.
